NO SHOW ON THE 2ND: ON SET TUESDAY. I"m sorry for that, but I picked up a scene with Miss Shasha Grey on Tuesday (part of a postponed shoot from last weeks), and won't be out in time for the show. Politics

Don't keep reading if you're not into politics with your sex, but I must say that the incoming administration isn't making me super happy. It seems, to all intents and purposes, to be Round Two of the Clinton years, without Hillary having to be in the top position. Plus, the proposed AG is no friend of porn. I may have already talked about this here, but I think a lot of the newer, younger voters will be sorely disappointed in our new president. I hope not, but it's looking like it. Sigh.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!  I hope you all have a nice place to be today, be it with blood family or your closest friends. We have a couple of invites to go out, but will likely stay in and entertain a few people. Driving on holidays is not our favorite thing! I'm somewhat of a traditionalist when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner and, since I'm cooking, won't be doing anything out of the ordinary: turkey (a half-breast and a thigh), some kind of potato, a couple of sweet potatoes, two veggies, stuffing, gravy (I make a great gravy), maybe a salad. If I go crazy, it might be to add some appetizers, but since we'll only be five people, at most, I don't want to put out too much food.

I had a great time last night with Roxanne Hall, and we got a lot done in only 30 minutes! She's a firecracker, is Ms. Hall, and no one is more fun to whip than she is, as no one enjoys it more! I'm doing a scene with her and her hubby on Saturday, which should be lots of fun!

I've got a few calls out for a guest on the 2nd, and will keep you posted.

Oral Surgery

I may be able to postpone my bone graft (upper jaw, where the molars are) till summer. If I can, I will do so, as having major surgery so close to AVN, etc., isn't the best timing. If I can't hold if off for six months, I won't, but if I can, I will push it back to summer, when it's slow here. It's been ten years since I lost the tooth, so what's six more months? That's what I'm going to ask the dentist. I'll keep you posted.

O2 Party

The release party for the sequel to “O: The Power of Submission,” “The Surrender of O,” was a big success. There was a nice mix of industry folks, local kinksters and the general public. The play spaces upstairs, for those liking to put on a kinky-but-non-explicit show, was packed with eager exhibitionists. All of the women from the movie were there, with the exception of Kayden Kross, who was on a set: star Bree Olson, Ava Rose, Mika Tan, Trinity Post and Bobbi Star all rocked the house in their sexy latex costumes, complete with butt cutouts and no fronts. They had to use electrical tape as pasties, as the latex ones made for the event didn’t stick well to skin. Normal weekend traffic into Hollywood is impossible to begin with, and this made it even worse. It took me an hour to traverse the six miles from my place to the venue. It took Mika Tan 2 hours to get the 15 miles from the Valley to the venue, just in time to be turned back because it had got too crowded and I had to get the fuck out of there. I don’t like clubbing in the best of moments: too loud, too drunk, for me. Add to that the crush of people desperate to have a good time and you’ve got a heap of craziness.

So, Mika, her husband Alec Knight, Max Mikita and her boyfriend, ended up walking to a fast food place and getting a bite. Now, the Hollywood and Cahuenga Jack in the Box is a surreal place on the best of weekends, but to add to the mix of street people, runaways and drunks a bunch of folks in costume, and you’ve got a show fit for reality TV. We made it back to our cars easily enough, and staggered home. Mika was a lovely geisha, Max was a sexy drill sergeant and Alec was a samurai with an amazing suit of armor.

Ernest was never so happy as to stay home as he was that night!

I’ve got to do make dinner, but I still have to tell you about Dark Odyssey! Sheesh! And my couple of lectures with Pastor Craig of the xxxchurch, and my solo talk at a university in Pennsylvania. Whew!

Political Talk

How about that election, eh? I was doing my show on the 4th and someone posted at about 7:45 my time that it had been called for Obama. I voted for him, I will say, and it’s an astonishing thing to have seen in my lifetime. My grandfather fought for civil rights, in Alabama, in the 1930’s and some of my earliest memories are of being pushed in my stroller in civil rights marches. So, I had an even stronger tug of personal meaning when I saw how well he did.

Now, he’s no messiah, and he’s certainly a politician. I’m not happy with him asking Clinton to be Secretary of State. I’d have preferred Hagel. But he’s got too many Clinton cronies on board for my taste. I mean, Bushie brought in Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Perle, among others, all left over from the Nixon administration. Starting with his choice of chief of staff, Obama is doing the same thing.

Plus, I don’t like his pick for Attorney General, who helped draft strategy for shutting down Internet adult sites. He’s no fan of porn. And the fact that Katherine MacKinnon, the blood sister of Andrea Dworkin, actively campaigned for Obama, helping fend off frustrated Hillaryites, doesn’t make me rest easily, either. This administration will be no friend to porn. I know Obama’s a First Amendment professor, so I hope he’ll stand up for it, but I don’t think he’ll necessarily stop “left wing” attacks on porn from a business or regulatory point.

It’s not quite a rant, but I know that some of his more passionate followers either will be, or already are, unhappy with his conservative choices.

Plus all the time bombs and mine fields that Bush’s last minute signings will leave him.

I mean really, Clinton is the best he can come up with?

My gig at Southern Connecticut State U (SCSU), a debate about porn with Pastor Craig of the XXXChurch, went pretty well. I give myself a B+, not bad for my first time. By the next time I meet up with him, on November 18, in Pittsburgh, I’ll be better, especially in my opening remarks.

I know I have a lot to catch up on, journal-wise. I’ll be putting it together and have it up asap.

I had a fun day in SF, at the Erotic Expo there, held in conjunction with the Exotic Erotic Ball, a Bay Area tradition now in it’s 27th year. I wasn’t on the main stage, but in the vendors area, signing autographs for Bay Area Distributors, Inc. Since I was able to be exposed, I made sure to wear things that showed off my tits and pussy. Election News

I’m so happy the election is almost here. I know for whom I’m voting, and I’m also happy to know that the endless discussion of the election is nearly over, to be replaced by the endless post mortem on it. Ernest wants to vote early, but I think it’s too late for that and we’ll have to stand in line with the rest of the voters. Our polling place is only two blocks from our house, so it’s not a long walk.
