Mike,

My reply to your reply was rude. and since that is not normally in my character and there was not way to alter it make it any better without changing my opinion, i decided it would be best to delete it

You have the right to free speech. No one has the right to not be offended. Besides, it takes a lot for me to become offended.

I've gotten involved in some kinky shit, and have nothing against FICTIONAL depictions of it. However, I've always been of the belief that "You can always turn it off." If you don't like it, don't watch it. I've seen some porn that has some of those elements, and that's fine. But, when I see porn that I feel has too much of those elements, or is over the top, I turn it off, in favor of something else.

For some, the fact that some things are demeaning IS the turn on. That would most likely explain why there are stars willing to do these scenes. Personally, I like the name calling during sex. Hell, I'm usually the first one to start with the names, including referring to myself in those terms. To me, they're just words, but words not used in "polite society", and I think that's the turn on. You're saying things you were told never to say. My favorite words during sex are : Whore, slut, cunt, bitch, twat, cocksucker, and butt-fuck ("Butt-fuck me" has a nastier sound than "Stick it in my ass"). The fact that those words aren't typically used is part of the turn on. It's part of letting loose.

I can't remember who said it, but "Sex is only dirty if it's done right."

Amen to that!

I am of the mindset that words are never offensive. It's the context in which the words are used that make them offensive.

Exactly, Mike. As George Carlin said, there are "bad thoughts, bad intentions, and words." There are no "BAD WORDS."

He's probably in the top three of my most favorite comics. He had a way about him that always made you wonder what portions of his acts were completely comical or literal. People that can fuck with people's heads like that make excellent comedians.
